Preparation Steps

Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, mix maida, salt, and sugar. Add oil or ghee. Gradually add water and make a soft dough.

Knead the Dough

Knead the dough well for 5–7 minutes until it becomes smooth and soft. Cover it and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.

Shape & Roll

Make small balls from the dough. Roll them into puri or roti shapes using a rolling pin.

Cooking / Frying

For Puri / Bhatura: Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the rolled dough until it turns golden brown.

For Naan / Roti: Cook on a tawa or in an oven. Cook properly from both sides.
